About 1 year and 3 months since her last work, Harajuku pop icon Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, who has become a mother, is finally making her return to the scene.

The new song "KURU KURU HARAJUKU," set to be released on July 18, features a fusion of exotic sounds and highly addictive beats, making it a track that hits the dance floor and is impossible not to dance to.

The artwork features a remarkable lineup of creators who have supported her since her debut, including "Pamyu Pamyu Revolution" and "Nandakore Collection," with art direction by Steve Nakamura, hair and makeup by Shinji Konishi, styling by Kumiko Iijima, and photography by Ken Hanzawa.

In this work, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu challenges herself to co-star with her real child for the first time, expressing her truly realistic self as she moves forward while balancing parenting and work. A visual has been completed that reflects the image of a parent and child growing together while enjoying their time together.

It contains a warm determination to show children many worlds and to hope they learn through society, while also growing as a mother alongside their journey.

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has formed a duo (laughs).
In the past, I have incorporated my hot events and timely matters into my work through my activities, but this time, after giving birth, I appeared in the main visual together with my child.

The key point is that it features a dragon head accessory on the head, inspired by a baby born in the Year of the Dragon, and bouldering parts are adorned all over the body.

"With my still small child, we are 一心同体, and I often feel as if they are a part of me. I express the thought, 'You can climb anywhere on my body. Let's grow together,' in a humorous and cute way."

The new song 'KURU KURU HARAJUKU' is scheduled to be performed for the first time at ASOBIEXPO on July 20, so please look forward to it.
